A 10+ week Journey Journal of my experience with this program

Another Week update…but this time I’ll go into everything so far… and connect things..

😁 Week by week, I take you through my first-hand account of my experience with The Inspired Money Foundation Program, created from Monica Ion’s 1-on-1 work with clients using The 7 Universal Laws.

If you missed the introduction post, or the other entries before this one, you can find the links to this series at the bottom of this entry.

As you may have seen me write about this course, PART 1 of the program- the first three weeks in the program, are about dissolving guilt and shame.

✨ In this part of the program the scope is to transform the inner structures related to shame and guilt which keep us small and limit our internal wiring of “worthiness”.

✨ The program is based in using Universal Laws to create this outcome, and the two Universal Laws applied here are The Law of Duality and The Law of Synchronicity. There is a specific protocol being used in the program, which has been designed and tested through Monica Ion’s 15,000 hours of 1-on-1 client practice.

I briefly describe this protocol in my following entry:

📌In Week 3 of the Program

In Week 3 of the program we work on Dissolving Shame using The Law of Duality and the Law of Synchronicity.

The Work of Dissolving Shame begins

To briefly describe Guilt and Shame…

Guilt arises from your perception that through your actions you have caused someone else more negatives than positives, and you feel guilty for how you have acted towards that person.

I wrote an entry on Guilt that you might be interested in reading more about:

Shame arises from your perception that through your actions you have cause YOURSELF more negative than positives, and you feel shame for what that has brough you or caused you.

In week 3 again we work with a partner on a daily basis, for at least one hour, to work at least on one moment of shame each, to balance our perception of shame.

Shame is very similar in construct to Guilt, but the imbalance of perception is at the level of our actions towards ourselves (Shame), versus our actions towards someone else (Guilt).

In both cases, what’s being addressed is both your own perception, and your own behavior, which you perceive that as a result of, you did something negative to someone else, or you cause it towards yourself.

My personal experience with Dissolving Shame

For me the process of Dissolving Guilt was much more straightforward and simple. But when the time came for Dissolving Shame… I started to experience some very interesting unique symptoms.

(1) My body tensed up, quite frankly immediately, through our third week group call. I started to feel very uncomfortable knowing this process was here on my doorstep and slowly approaching with my partner-calls.

And even during the start of the partner-calls, I would feel a heaviness overcome me, and I would get stuck not knowing which scenario of shame to choose to work through (which one would be more or less painful to go through).

But I did it anyway… one scenario at a time, especially choosing some of the ones I know had been stuck there for a long time, because I could still tap into that memory of shame.

Later, in a couple of days after starting to work on Shame moments, I suddenly started to feel incredibly tired… like I was lugging my body around, dragging my body with me through space.

It felt a bit like somehow my CPU usage in the body was at like 60-70%… I mean I felt like there was tons of recalibration in my body, and there were great resources being used to do this, and it was manifesting in this incredible overwhelm and tiredness.

(2) The second thing that I started to notice as soon as I began balancing my perceptions of shame moment by moment, was suddenly being more clear in my mind (like the clouds have been parting).

The decisions I would before debate about and negotiate in my head about, it suddenly felt like my brain was more clear to take a decision much more quickly and with way more clarity about myself in those contexts.

What I would normally debate in my head, or negotiate about within, suddenly have started to be much easier decisions…

(3) 1 and 2 lead me to this third point. I have known for quite a few years now, in pretty profound awareness, that for decades I was living a life and being someone, that were NOT me. And I felt this for a long time… until my crisis hit, and then I started to face this.

Somehow, this is one of the greatest challenges to experience, to individuate in our own right (because of the layers of programming we adopt – which relate so greatly to guilt and shame). I could say that it’s only the result of the last three years, that I have been living and being more of who I am, but it has taken tremendous efforts to shift in that direction, a lot of inner work.

And going down into these layers of Guilt and Shame, has helped me tap into my own truth, with an awareness unlike before… I am so profoundly aware in every day moments, when I am not myself, when I am “reactively” tempted to not to be myself, and I have to stop and make a different choice now – over and over, in many contexts, in all areas of my life, so that I’m coming more into alignment.

📌Overall in the First 3 Weeks

The main scope of the first 3 weeks is to Dissolve a good chuck of Guilt and Shame moments from the system by balancing polarized perceptions around those moments, using The Law of Duality and the Law of Synchronicity.

This is ultimately what the main target in these three weeks is. It’s an 80% applied program, using the FTP Protocols that Monica Ion devised using The Universal Laws.

But I want to take a few minutes to write about the overall parts that happen in addition to the focus on Dissolving Guilt and Shame, through these 3 weeks.

[1] The Working Principles

There are 9 working principles with which we anchor into the program. You will have to take the program to know all of the 9 principles, but I can share my experience, and which principles resonated with me immediately.

These 4 principles actually relate to my highest values structure. I can share with you this whole system of order around values and around these principles and how they are connected with me, so that you may get a sense for it, through a real example of my own.

I read and resonated with 4 principles much more before I finalized the new version of my top 3 practical priorities… and then later realized they were connected.

These 4 principles (from the 9) that I resonated with the most, are:

Principle #1 – Everything that happens in your life is YOUR creation.

Principle #5 – You can change your external reality by changing your internal reality.

Principle #8 – Every problem can be reduced to a Relationship

Principle #6 – Everything that happens, happens FOR YOU.

My #1 Highest Practical Value is around my relationship with myself, which ties very well into Principle #1, because everything externally comes from us.

My #2 Highest Practical Value is around my vocation and developing my own path, which very much connects to the connection between internal/external reality.

My #3 Highest Practical Value is around relationships, and you can see it ties in fittingly to Principle #8.

And I really believe that my anchor for this program, is to see the larger tapestry of my life, and to reach a point where I have a greater vision with which to live my life through, so you can see how Principle #6 is pivotal in this.

There’s more to say, but overall, for me, this foundational level of inner order ; Needs – Values – Areas of Life – and now these foundational Working Principles, give me clarity over the direction of my life, at this moment in time-and-space… where I stand in relationship to where I am and what I need and what it kind of looks like for me.

The working principles are a great piece of the course.

[2] The Top 3 Highest Priorities

In the first three weeks, we also go through the exercise of defining our Top 3 Highest Practical Priorities… and how the mind works in this structure.

The process we go through is similar to what Monica Ion teaches in her free workshops, and I have also written about this process in one of my articles:

[3] The Law of Order, Order at the Level of Thoughts, and Order at the Level of Actions and Behavior

Another important piece of work that takes place in the first three weeks, is about the awareness on the level of order we have internally and externally.

I wrote about this from the perspective of Money in my Week 2 update, under “The Foundation for Inspired $Money Materialization gets introduced” in which I wrote about this dynamic between having order at the level of the immaterial (the mind / Clarity) and order at the level of the material (execution / Structure), this ultimate combination of CLARITY and STRUCTURE.

You can read more about that here:

This is an important piece that relates to Money.

But this aspect of Order starts coming up for many of us in the course, both internally and externally in different areas of life. And we are encouraged to perform a task of Order in our lives, that could be beneficial for us to order ourselves internally and/or externally.

[4] Several Exercises Related to $Money

Even though the first three weeks are greatly centered around Dissolving Guilt and Shame, there are several important exercises related to Money.

I will mention them here briefly.

  1. an exercise around Symptoms related to Money.
  2. an exercise around Time-Money Balance, in connection to Top 3 Highest Priority Values.
  3. an exercise around Bringing Order to Finances, to create more order around money.
  4. and also a very special exercise, that I have seen Monica Ion only do once at one of her workshops, when she did her workshop for Coaches on the Imposter Syndrome. This exercise is specific around Increasing the Value that You offer Through a Specific Service. This exercise is meant to rewire the brain in a particular way.

And by the way, there is another workshop similar to this one where I discovered this exercise initially, and although it’s not given by Monica Ion directly, but rather by someone by the name of Patrick Ney, it might still be presented. I’m not for sure, but it could be worth a try, for you to see more about this.

See HERE for the event.

[5] Lastly, I want to address some Themes that occur during the first 3 weeks as a whole group

In these three weeks, it is clear that our relationship with Money is more of a side-effect from other patterns happening at the level of identity, perception, emotional patterns, and other things related to our past programming.

(#1) We are continuously being challenged to look at how we are co-creating our reality.

In some ways to move from thinking and asking “Why is this happening?” and stay more with the question like “How am I participating in creating this?”

In the first three weeks, many of us in the group are faced with challenges around:

  • technical problems, relationship challenges, clutter, procrastination, lack of clarity, business struggles, and financial limitations….and other things…

These may at first seem like they’re just happening in our lives, but actually we are creating these things. We are participating in the creation of them, whether consciously or unconsciously.

As it’s constantly repeated in our program:

“Each of us is responsible for our own reality and that we co-create our reality alongside the other people in our lives.”

Rather than searching for external explanations, participants are continually redirected toward examining unconscious patterns and personal responsibility.

The principle through which the program operates are such that they all point to a major commonality — that our perception is the cause of all causes:

“An event or an action, at the universal level, is neither good nor bad, it simply is. The meaning we attach to it is what determines how we experience it.

Every experience is a situation that has been co-created by both people involved. The person on the receiving end experiences both benefits and drawbacks in equal measure from the situation, just as they would have experienced benefits and drawbacks in equal measure had the situation not occurred. They also received support equal to the challenge posed.”

And it’s the same with you on your end.

This is why the exercise of Guilt and Shame are so similar, but at the level of two different people, in Guilt it’s at the level of the other person, in Shame at the level of of ourselves – in relationship to our actions and behavior either toward that person or toward ourselves.

(#2) Transformation is Uncomfortable

This is another big theme of the first three weeks.

What I started to notice was that all of us in the program, in some form or another, were encountering…. Distractions, Resistance, Confusion, Emotional Intensity, Physical Discomfort, Exhaustion / Overwhelm…etc.

For example:

  • Rather than keeping the focus on guilt and shame, certain people were being distracted by more intense emotions like resentment or fear… trying to distract them away from the main central task…
  • Rather than keeping the focus inward, certain people were getting “distracted” by the internal system to look at others for fault… rather than redirect responsibility inward.
  • I know in my personal experience I had to put a lot of effort just to show up to our calls, with my partner. I know in one group session, I felt very uncomfortable that my mind manifested a very strange scenario, which in reflection, I realized it was the result of my own resistance to staying focused on the matter.

I wrote a separate piece around this theme in much more depth:

What I started to notice in this program and observe was that if any of us have developed certain ‘fractals of behavior” as coping mechanisms, or to compensate for something internal, due to wounds from, for example guilt and shame, those fractal patterns of who we are will start to loosen up, bubble up, and those will come to surface slowly but surely (either through the resonant field with others or simply through the progressive work on dissolving moments one by one)…. and when they bubble up, man are they uncomfortable…. but it’s a sign that we are at edge of an old identity about to go into a new transformation, and if we hold the line, we cross that threshold.

(3) Resistance is teaching us something about ourselves

Another theme that occurs is one around acknowledging what the resistance is perhaps telling us something about ourselves.

For example, a lot of people experienced resistance in the form of:

  • the need to understand everything before proceeding with the exercise
  • having technical problems and technology failing to work adequately
  • not being completely organized, no matter what order is established
  • struggling philosophically with applying the guilt or shame process in situations
  • looking at others for the shame we feel instead of ourselves

And when these moments of resistance showed up (in which the person had a hard time moving forward in that direction, or resisted doing the exercises), the leads of the program would ask two questions, often repeatedly:

1- What would you loose, if the ideal scenario was true (suddenly your life was completely organized, or you finished all the guilt moments quickly…)?

“Every recurring pattern has a hidden benefit, so before changing it, discover what your unconscious is protecting.”

Another version of this question could be:

“What would you lose if you allowed yourself to trust the process, trust yourself, and continue without resolving every conceptual distinction first?”

Every pattern persists because some part of you believes it is protecting something valuable. Before the pattern can dissolve, it helps to “see” or discover what you believe you would lose by letting it go.

For example: The need for certainty itself has a hidden function.

The point is that the question redirects attention from the behavior to its unconscious benefit.

Another way to think about this question is:

“What do these interruptions allow you to avoid, postpone, or protect? What benefit might the interruption have provided?

The recurring forms of this first question can be applied in numerous ways:

  • What are you protecting?
  • What did this allow you to avoid?
  • What part of you is resisting?
  • What meaning did your brain attach to this?

They are all point to the unconscious function that a pattern is serving as it manifests.

The second question is:

2- What would you loose if you had the opposite? That you consider the optimal version of reality?

The first is about acknowledging: “What is this pattern doing for me?”

And the second question is about: “What would I lose if this pattern disappeared?”

For example:

In the case of one person acknowledging that her space is never ordered just the way she would like it to no matter how much order she installs in her space:

  • the first question, would be – what are the benefits for this happening in your life?
  • and the second question, would be – what would you lose if your life became completely organized, or what are the drawbacks of being completely organized?

Do you see…how the two questions are connected to understanding how that pattern is manifesting in your life because it serves a function, at the level of the subconscious? And when you consciously understand it, the system looses the grip on that fractal pattern, just by the mere observation of it at first.

Then, you can proceed to take actions to shift that pattern.

Okay… I’ve covered a lot this time. I’ll leave it here in this entry.

Feel free to drop any questions you might have around all this.

Hope it opens the door for you to dive into this type of work with the Universal Laws and look closer at the patterns that may be running the show in your life.
